RomaTrePerRoma rivolgere qualche domanda ad Alberto.
Rm3xRm: Hi! What’s your name and where do you come from?
A.: Hello! My name is Alberto Bravo Velázquez and I’m from Spain.
Rm3xRm: Wow Alberto! You’re our first international winner! How did you know the contest #imitalarte?
A.: My good friend Silvia told me about it when she showed me the Vatican Museum. She knows a lot about arts and the monuments and history of Rome. When she told me about #imitalarte I found the idea very interesting, that’s why I looked for an impressive statue and imitated the position.
Rm3xRm: Explain your experience with #imitalarte.
A.: It was on the 21th of May when I visited Rome with my girlfriend. The city is amazing, it has so much history and so many special places. A city with a lot of personality. I really enjoyed those days walking around the city, eating pizza and pasta and trying to speak Italian.
Rm3xRM: Did you know the mythological story?
A.: The statue represents Perseo holding Medusa’s head. The mythological story tells that Perseo went to cut off Medusa’s head to offer it as present to a princess. To get it Perseo used a bronze shield that Athena gave him as mirror to avoid looking at Medusa directly. This way he wouldn’t become an stone statue.
Rm3xRM: Would you like to repeat this experience? Do you have an idea, or a favorite work of art?
A.: Of course! I think it is a funny way to bring closer arts to observers. Hence I live in Barcelona, it would be funny imitating the statue of Christopher Columbus located on the top of big the column in the Plaza del Portal de la Paz of Barcelona, very close to the port.
I especially like roman and ancient Greek art, but the Italian Renaissance too.

Vi salutiamo presentandovi l’#imitalarte che RomaTrePerRoma ha pensato per il suo calendario del mese di Giugno. Si tratta delle nostre socie Lucrezia e Francesca che imitano due simpatiche decorazioni in opus sectile provenienti dalla sala della domus di Porta Marina, esposte nel Museo Nazionale dell’Altomedioevo. Vi sembrano abbastanza somiglianti le loro espressioni??

Cosa si vince?
A fine mese la Commissione del Consiglio Direttivo di RomaTrePerRoma sceglierà la foto più bella ed originale. Le foto inviate oltre il termine dello stop parteciperanno alla gara del mese successivo.
Il foto-vincitore avrà diritto a partecipare gratuitamente ad una visita dell’associazione a scelta tra quelle previste per il 2016. Inoltre, alla foto sarà dedicato un post speciale sul nostro blog e verrà diffusa sui nostri canali social insieme a una breve intervista al suo creatore (o creatrice!).
